Qualification

 1. A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any institution, college, or university recognized or approved by a government-authorized body, the AICTE, or the UGC. The results for this qualifying examination must be declared on or before April 1, 2026. Furthermore, whenever required by the Bank, the candidate must produce the marksheet and the Provisional or Original Degree Certificate issued by the concerned university, college, or institution.

The date of passing the Bachelor’s degree must not be more than four years prior to the cut-off date—that is, April 1, 2026 (meaning, the date on the Bachelor’s marksheet cannot be earlier than April 1, 2022).

2. Determining the Date of Passing: The date recorded on the marksheet or Provisional Degree Certificate issued by the Board, University, or Institution shall be considered the official date of passing the qualifying examination.

In cases where the results of a specific examination are published on the website of the Board, University, or Institution, a certificate issued by the competent authority of said Board, University, or Institution—specifically stating the date on which the results were published online—shall be accepted as the official date of passing.

3. Calculation of Percentage: The percentage shall be calculated by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate (the aggregate marks secured across all subjects in all semesters or years) by the maximum aggregate marks (full marks) for all subjects. In this calculation, Honors, Optional, or Additional Optional subjects (if any) shall not be considered separately.

This rule shall also apply to universities where the ‘Class’ or ‘Grade’ is determined solely based on the results of the Honors subjects. Any fractional part of the percentage calculated in this manner shall be ignored (i.e., the digits following the decimal point shall be dropped); for instance, 59.99% shall be treated as 60%.

No correspondence or communication regarding these matters shall be entertained.

Based on the information provided in the online application, the Bank will allow all applicants for the Apprentice position to appear for the examination; however, the actual eligibility of candidates will be determined solely during the document verification stage.

3. Candidates are advised, in their own interest, to complete their online applications well in advance of the application deadline.
